DRUNKEN Dungeons & Dragons Art: 2011 Did you know the people at Critical Hits encourage drinking & delving? I wasn't able to make it to GenCon this year, but that didn't stop the Critical Hits crew from asking me to paint up some art for them at the very last minute. For whatever reason, I got inspired. And Motivated. So I did it. In about a Day. Click HERE for a bit more info from the CH folks but in a nutshell, they needed art for fake geeky products & foodstuffs to be placed onto playing cards that look like this:
Cool, right? Update! Critical Hits says I can Link to the Cards they used, so you can see the full collection! (Please note the "Junkulator" art piece doesn't appear below because the painting I did for the Critical Hits Junkulator last October, namely a post-apocalyptic Jack-in-the-Box Drive-Thru, was impossible for me to top.) Without any more fanfare, here's the original art that ended up being used on the Drunken Dungeons & Dragons cards this year. When there's a link to the actual card set, I'll post those up too! Enjoy!
