I hate talking about money.  Too many folks who set up creative shop online belittle themselves by trying to be big business before having even a small audience.  That's not a dig against anyone out there, but more a confession that I'm afraid of being successful.  Recent events, such as having 9 million visitors (holy crap who are you people) and selling a couple months worth of paintings, dictate that after 5 years of selling art in one way that I need to move up in the world.  Or at least learn from my mistakes.  Like pulling a bandage off as quickly as possible, let's do this fast.

1.  Can I buy an original painting?  What Size is it?  How  much money do you charge?

Yes, yes you can buy my stuff...I don't mind that at all.  Due to how fast I work, most of my pieces are on standard 8x11 paper.  There are exceptions, admittedly.  As for the cost, while I can't give a base price for everything, the price for most of my watercolor/ink pieces that are on 8x11 paper (99% of what's on this site) sells for something in between $50-100 plus $8 for shipping (Living in Berlin means currency conversion costs stab me in the face).  All prices are up for negotiation and that right there is just a ballpark to start from.

Canvas paintings start around $100 dollars, though like anything else, that can be negotiated as well.

2.  What about Commissions, do you do those?

I sort of do Commissions.  Basically if you'd like me to paint something specific and you want it done in the next two weeks, it costs $20.  That's just to get it made and earn yourself a digital copy.  If you just want art for your forum, then that's the thing for you.  If you DO like it, then that $20 you spent goes toward buying the original piece.  I hope that makes sense.  I find it hard to balance creative freedom with commissioned work...so think of that $20 as being put into a giant Jared-shaped Slot machine of Art.  Man, that doesn't sound good at all.  I'm going to quit while I'm ahead and move on.

3.  Do you sell T-shirt, prints, and other bits of Swag?

Yes.  I'm currently hunting for a better shop/method to do  this, but right now I'm using Cafe Press.  If there's something specific you want to see there let me know and I can add it to the shop.  Follow the link below and enjoy the ride.

4.  How do I pay you?

Paypal is the preferred method at the moment.  If that doesn't work for you I'm sure we can work something out.

Thanks for tolerating my goofy money talk.  Now go look at some Art or read something funny and forget we had this conversation, alright?
