April 2006

Click the above to see how my first "booze-based" Art Crash went.  If you follow percentages, it did better than my 300 hour one.  Of course this one didn't last anywhere near that long, mostly do to my inability to tolerate drinking nothing but tequila somewhere short of 300 hours.  Sorry about that.

Here's a random story that was written by an 8-year-old boy.  It's weird, but twisting the work of children comes naturally to me.  Go figure.

Leon, watercolor and ink.  Dear Lord, I love this movie.

Dinosamurai, ink.

Black Hare Boogey-man, watercolor and ink.  I actually forgot that Easter was happening AGAIN this year, so this is all I could come up with for the holiday on such short notice.  Not bad, but too late to be considered timely.

Electric God #2, ink and watercolor.

Merman Charge, watercolor and ink.  This is what, the 59th fishman on the website now?  Sheesh.

Woolly Behemoth, watercolor and ink.

A Tough Love, watercolor and ink.  I still say "Tough Love" would be a great name for a super hero.

KoL Bamboot, watercolor and ink.  I told you I still do KoL art from time to time, right?

Easter Zombie, ink, watercolor, and highlighters.  In case you didn't believe me about the whole "forgetting about Easter until the last minute" thing, just know that I ended up coloring most of that with a party pack of office highlighters of the blue, green, yellow, and pink varieties.  Not bad, but the "hand flail" didn't come out as clear as I'd have hoped.

Friction Skid, watercolor and ink.

Undead Bandito, watercolor and ink.

Dinosamurai Banner, watercolor and ink.  This is the "complete" version of one of this month's banners.  Dinosamurai are just so bad-ass somehow.

 Quixote 2099, ink.

Old Scratch, watercolor, acrylic, and ink.  This is "old" because it's this painting I did a while ago and never shared it.  It brings me no joy, but my older woman likes it a lot...so it got posted.  There's really no accounting for taste, is there?

LeapFrog, watercolor and ink.  If you recognized this super hero, you are, without question, a big dork.  Be proud.

 This month's banners:

Mad Grin, DinoSamurai, Viscera Clown, Jungle Demon
