August is, quite frankly, the month I loathe the most.

Loved by Darkness, ink, acrylic & watercolor. There's probably more to this one than I'd care to admit. Then again, who doesn't like pale gothic green-skinned women in bondage being oggled by wraiths?

Jungle Lemur, acrylic & ink. I should so lie about this one and say that I meant for it to turn out like this. I love it but to be honest it's pure accident. Gotta love experimentation.

Rachel's Gift, acrylic on plastic. You have no idea how long something like this takes when you have a workspace that's 1/5th the size of the thing you're painting.

Pheasant Beast, foam sculpture with acrylic. I don't know why, but I was possessed with the desire to buy a chunk of bedding foam, rip it to pieces, and start painting. This might be the same impulse that makes me watch Three's Company....it just doesn't make any sense.
