January 2006

"LeperMan, steal your baby he can", watercolor & ink.  Possibly the best titled painting on the site.  It's even better if you sing it at people who you don't know.

The Unforgiving Surf, watercolor, ink, & acrylic.

Train, watercolor & ink.  Oddly enough, I painted this one using not water but snow.  That might explain why the colors didn't behave and why I heavily inked the bastard.  Then again, maybe it was on purpose.  Or, well, yeah.  Nevermind.

  Keyhole Peers, watercolor & acrylic.

The Hungry but Innocent Baby Seal, watercolor & ink.  Also one I used snow instead of water with the watercolors.

Scanner Static 1.  My scanner stopped working in the middle of January.  This was proof.

Andy Warhol ate my scanner, a scanning mistake.  A more artistic bit of evidence that my scanner was no longer operating correctly.

I dream of Mechanical Spiders, watercolor.

Sad Astronaut, watercolor, ink, & acrylic.  Part of the forgotten Drunk Art Experiment.

Mad Science #4, watercolor & ink.

The Batgirl Meme, watercolor, ink, & acrylic.  Because everyone is doing it these days.

Silver Wolf, acrylic & watercolor on canvas (50x50). Someone needs to remind me why I don't paint on canvas more often.  Really they do.  (They also need to help me take better pictures of that which can't be scanned.) (Sold)

  SteamPunk Chivalry, acrylic & watercolor.

My Mom, watercolor & ink.  I swear to God she has those earrings.

Twilight Savage, watercolor & ink.  Again, I really wonder where these ideas come from.

Goblin mage in Straitjacket, acrylic.  I try to keep my geeky role-playing past time off of the site, but when someone makes a character who's insane and has to be restrained after combat I don't know whether to laugh or stab them in the eye.  So I painted it.  Sort of.

  Drug Worm, watercolor & ink.

  Melting?, watercolor, acrylic, & ink.

Vampire in Retreat (with Happy Tree), acrylic.  If you get the Happy Tree reference, then you know what I was watching when I painted this.

Unsettling Wink, watercolor, acrylic, & ink..

The Great Eastern Bong Dragon, watercolor & ink.  I don't know why I name paintings things like this if I don't do drugs.  It's weird.

Abstract Zombie wearing a bowler hat, acrylic.  True story:  Someone saw this painting as you see it here (it was unfinished or so I thought) and said "Holy crap!  That's an abstract Zombie wearing a bowler hat!"  I didn't have the heart to keep painting on it and I thought that was pretty random unto itself.
