January 2007:

Jared Gets the Flu of Doom.

January 31st:  Jared makes up for the Flu.

Doctor Doom breathes his namesake, InkRazor Geisha (I don't know either), Hellboy 2, "I don't feel so well."  To the dear friend who introduced me to the Hellboy comics while I was sick:  Thank you and go to Hell yourself.  They were awesome, but far to skillful at filling my fever dreams with tales of Nazi robots and fascist alien demons.  And yes, I was one of the millions of people who hadn't heard of Hellboy until I saw a movie poster and couldn't help but make fun of the name.  "So, what's your demon character called?"  "Hellboy.  He was summoned by the Third Reich!"  I know the name is a joke, but when you go on IMDB for a plot summary and it starts with "a demon named Hellboy gets summoned in World War 2" it just SCREAMS "make fun of me."  Particularly if you don't read enough comics to know that it is a joke.

January 29th:  Jared has the Flu.

Seriously.  Give me a day or so to get myself in order.  God I hate being ill.

So, my scanner's back in business and the past month of relative site lethargy is at a close.  If I haven't responded to your email accept my apology and know that I'm trudging through my inbox as you read this.  In the meantime, enjoy some random Art-like things.
