Jared's Fantubulous July!

Mandela Mask, watercolor.  I really like this one if only because I'd really had a lot to drink when I made it.  That sort of shows I think.  God knows if that's a good or bad thing.  Don't do drugs.  They're bad. OK?

Acrylic Girl in Rain, acrylic (obviously).

These Two Hands, watercolor & ink.  I don't know why, but whenever weird hands are involved, I start quoting "The Neverending Story."

Germ Limelight, watercolor & ink.  In retrospect, this has far too much in common with Plankton from the Spongebob Squarepants show.

Crayon Monsters, watercolor, ink, and crayon.  This was an experiment for a project I'm working on.  Sadly crayon characters don't seem any more "unreal" than the other stuff I draw.  Oh well.

The Deep Sea is Lonely, watercolor & ink.  Man, I do draw a lot of Fishmen, don't I?

So very Untitled, watercolor, acrylic, & ink.  This is a sort of obscure "Vampire the Masquerade" tribute.  And that's a nose ring.  I swear.

Childhood Ghost, watercolor & acrylic.

Hungry Hungry Hippo, watercolor & ink.

Giant Lizard Love, watercolor & ink.

Momma Shiva, watercolor & ink.  Didn't Shiva have arms?

The Lady, watercolor & ink.  Yet another oh so cleverly titled painting.  :sigh:

Why Does it Burn?, watercolor & ink.  I'm beginning to notice that most of the characters I draw are in serious need of an orthodontist.

Daddy made me a Friend, watercolor, acrylic, & ink.  I don't care what you say; mouths within mouths is just damn creepy.  Oh and just so you know:  When October comes ALL the art coming in will be particularly Halloween-themed.

Get the Damn Door, watercolor on black paper.  The furthering adventures of the Shadow Monk.

King Solomon's Demonic Legion, watercolor & ink.  In case you didn't know, that's the entire roster of demons being recited straight from "The Lesser Key of Solomon", an apparently "legitimate" source for demonic summoning.

I don't get Furries #2, watercolor & ink.  I can't say that I came up with this idea.  I went into a chat room and that's what started shaking it's goodies at me.  Gah.  Lesson learned:  Don't go into a roleplaying chatroom out of curiosity.  Ever.

Panhandling Bunny, watercolor & ink.  Art for Panhandling Worldwide.

Blue Fire consumes Memories, watercolor & ink.  From the same project as the Crayola Monsters.  Oh and I hate this painting.  Why the hell did I put it here?

Bigfoot Confrontation, watercolor & ink.

I dropped the Kids off at the Pool", watercolor, acrylic, & ink.  Because I really don't make enough poop jokes on this site.

Deep Blue, acrylic.

Second Hand Smoke, watercolor & ink.  If I saw someone smoking a cigarette like THAT I might actually stop smoking.

The Emo Emu, watercolor & ink.  It's true.  Still, if it wasn't for online Emo kids, there would be no drama at all.  And by kids I mean everyone, since I'm sure half the 13 year old girls who chat online are really 47 year old balding men.

Something Rises, acrylic.

Dr. Finregard, watercolor, acrylic, & ink.  To answer your question: No, that is not a Photoshopped texture in the back.  I ended up layering a fair quantity of acrylic paint and then watercoloring over it.

Chapel Anole, watercolor & ink.  Be warned, the original title of this was "Chapel Anolement."

Gaos #1, watercolor & ink.  If you're a Gamera fan, then you'll get the humor here.

Stressed Doll, watercolor & ink.  To be honest, not all drunk art turns out well.

I painted one of my Playstation 2 controllers a wee bit (note the teeth).  It's crazy having a vibrating fully-functional monster controller of your very own.

This month's Title Banners:
